Wow we are busy in the office. We are seeing influenza early this year. Most cases have been typical with fever in the 103 range with runny nose and cough. Most cases I’ve seen have been in children who did not receive flu immunization. It is not too late to get some protection from a flu immunization, so if you or your child has not gotten that this year, I would highly recommend it.
I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and was able to spend some quality time with family. Weather is nasty out today, but for me bad weather is always a good excuse to stay in, make a fire, and play games with my kids in front of the fireplace.
